Second, take advantage of the city’s nightlife and check out some of the bars and clubs. Or, if you’re looking for something more low-key, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from.

Third, take advantage of the city’s cultural offerings and visit some of the museums or art galleries. Or, catch a show at one of the many theaters in town.

Fourth, take advantage of the city’s shopping opportunities and visit some of the local boutiques or shops. You can also find great deals at the many outlet malls in the area.

Finally, take advantage of the city’s proximity to other great attractions and take a day trip to Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA.

There are several great museums to visit in Greenville this summer. The Bob Jones University Museum and Gallery is a great choice for art lovers. There are plenty of great outdoor activities to enjoy in Greenville this summer. For starters, the city has several great parks that are perfect for picnics, hiking, and just enjoying the fresh air. Falls Park on the Reedy is a particularly popular spot, and it’s easy to see why with its stunning waterfall views.

Important Dates

There are a few important dates to keep in mind if you’re planning on spending some time in Greenville this summer.

The first is May 1st, when the city’s farmers markets open for the season. You’ll be able to find fresh produce, artisanal goods, and more at the farmers markets.

June 21st is the first day of summer, and it’s also the date of Greenville’s annual Summer Solstice Celebration. This event features live music, food trucks, and fun activities for the whole family.

July 4th is of course Independence Day, and Greenville always has a big celebration. There will be a parade, live entertainment, and fireworks. It’s a great opportunity to spend some time with friends or family and enjoy all that Greenville has to offer.

referred to as “Graduation”, the Commencement Ceremony is just that, a
ceremony.  It is an end-of-spring semester celebration for students
projected to successfully complete all of their graduation requirements by the
end of that Spring or Summer semester.

spring’s commencement ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2019
at 7:00 p.m. in Paladin Stadium.  The Post
Commencement Celebration will take place at Fluor Field in Downtown Greenville.  Buses will be running continuously between
