Local College Graduation Events for Spring 2019
Often referred to as “Graduation”, the Commencement Ceremony is just that, a ceremony. It is an end-of-spring semester celebration for students projected to successfully complete all of their graduation requirements by the end of that Spring or Summer semester.
Furman University
This spring’s commencement ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Paladin Stadium. The Post Commencement Celebration will take place at Fluor Field in Downtown Greenville. Buses will be running continuously between North Village J Community Center and Fluor Field beginning at 10pm. All Graduating Students, their families, faculty, and staff are invited.
Clemson University
Clemson University will hold four Commencement Ceremonies, each lasting approximately two hours at Littlejohn Coliseum. Two ceremonies will occur Thursday, May 9 and two Friday, May 10 at 9:30am and 2:30pm each day. Tickets are not required for this event; seating is available on a first come/first serve basis. Guests may enter through any regular entrance to the coliseum.
Greenville Technical College
Greenville Technical College’s Spring Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019, at the Greenville Convention Center, One Exposition Drive, Greenville, as follows:
- 10 a.m. Business and Technology Division
- 1 p.m. Health & Wellness and Public Service, Arts, and Science Divisions
Tri County Technical College
The Spring Commencement Ceremony will be held on May 6, 2019 at the Littelejohn Coliseum on the campus of Clemson University.
